The Web Master™ has been the trusted harness of avalanche rescue teams, service dog handlers, and conservation teams since its introduction as Ruffwear’s first harness. Proven over two decades in the field, it carries on a legacy of delivering durability and comfort without restricting movement – now with a front leash attachment point and a neck buckle to eliminate the over-the-head on/off experience for head-shy dogs.

The reinforced handle offers balanced lift and assist support for navigating technical terrain, while a perforated foam back panel provides breathable structure without adding bulk.     Good help for 2 different dogs

    I originally bought one for the dog who has symptoms of degenerative myelopathy. The handle has been helpful for giving her an assist with steps or with obstacles on our short hikes. Now it's proven even more valuable since she has injured one of her hind legs: we're not hiking, but she needs more assistance around the yard and on vet visits. Meanwhile, I bought a second Web Master for her brother because he can be very reactive when we encounter other dogs on our hikes. The handle makes it much easier to keep him close and prevent him from lunging and other sudden moves.

    The perfect harness for Pebbles!!!

    My fur baby is a rat terrier breed. Big chest with a small waist. I tried 4 other harnesses with no success. They just didnt fit right...until I found this one!!! It was a perfect fit!!! She couldnt back out of it and I could adjust the tightness to fit snug. I love the built in handle that helps me lift her into the car for our car rides or to navigate rough terrain on our hikes. I bought my first harness from this company 8 years ago and I still have that one!!! I just wanted a fresh color!

    Grateful it fits a whippet puppy

    It's so hard to find harnesses that'll fit a whippet. Add onto that a whippet puppy and it's super hard. The XS fits our boy (4 months old and about 19lbs) perfectly. Now he gets to explore on his long line without any worry.

    I love this harness because when my dog hesitates while walking I can just grab the handle and walk with her beside me and it works great. She needed the longer harness for more control. Works great!
