The Web Master™ has been the trusted harness of avalanche rescue teams, service dog handlers, and conservation teams since its introduction as Ruffwear’s first harness.     The only harness I use

    I have a 5 yr old Sheprador, 70 pounds, who is a handful. He learned at 1 that he could back out of any harness by lunging backwards and rolling (I call it his Crocodile Death Roll)! Ruffwear Web Master is the only harness he can't escape from thanks to the belly band. It's durable and strong. I had to buy a new one recently as his old one is looking too beat up, but even 4 years old, all the seams and stitches are still strong. Worth every penny.

    Perfection!

    This is the only harness my Houdini can't escape from. Too many harnesses only have a single fitting around a chest. If you have a working dog with a wide chest and small belly, opening up the harness to fit the chest just allows the whole thing to slide off. Having a third part that fits around the smaller belly keeps a dog from backing out of their harness, as the smaller part can't fit over the chest. First time I put it on my escape artist, he just kept backing up, backing up, looking confused as to why he wasn't free. He's worn his old Web Master harness thin, but now that Ruffwear has brought them back, I'm getting him a new one.

    Awesome Harness!

    This is a great harness and the three straps...handle and front clip are great features. I got the blaze orange. The harness looks great on my big girl who is mainly black. The blaze orange is a great color and highly visible. We have gotten numerous compliments on this harness and they loved it at the vets office.

    I was a little put off at first..it seemed stiff and kind of like cardboard. After speaking with Ruffwear staff..I decided to give it a try. It molded

    perfectly around my girls body. It is a bit more difficult to put on than like a Joyride which I also like for some dogs. But for my big girl this harness is perfect! I recommend to anyone who has a dog esp. if you worry they may back out. I have had poodles back out of harnesses so I wanted the best and safest for my girl ..and I got it...although with shipping it cost $91. Was a little steep but this harness I believe would last the life of your dog. Thank you Ruffwear!

    Want more colors!

    This harness is awesome for my service dog! and for her adventures with me on the trails!!! Would love for this to be offered in purple and pool blue!!!
