Dogs can hold their stride with the Vert™ Jacket no matter what elements are thrown their way. Designed to embrace the wintry-mix that would otherwise mean spending the day inside, the shell fabric is windproof, waterproof, and breathable.

The Vert™ Jacket features extended waterproof coverage over the hips and thighs and recycled, lofted insulation that packs exceptional warmth. Leg loops keep the jacket in place when the winds kick up, and the leash portal allows the Vert™ to be worn over a harness.

High-loft recycled polyester insulation provides warmth.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Vert is a Relaxed Fit with side-release buckles for easy on/off and extended vest coverage over hips and thighs.

    Kept my pups warm on a snowy camping trip!

    I have a 55lb lab and a 30lb standard poodle. We had a camping trip planned to Yosemite Valley in February and the temperatures were 30 and below, with snow in the forecast. Their jackets arrived just in time and worked wonders! They got to enjoy playing in the snow without getting cold! Love that the snow didn't effect the function of keeping them warm!!

    The perfect winter coat for FLX

    This coat the the perfect weight and size for our rescue pup. We bought it when he arrived from Texas and was a skinny, malnourished pup. We liked it so much that we bought it again when the first one was destroyed in an unsupervised chewing incident. I especially like the elastic straps for his hind legs. It keeps the coat in place in windy weather.

    Grateful!

    Recent inclement weather has made me most grateful for the Vert Winter Dog Coat.!

    This garment is very well made and seems of high quality.

    After an hour in very heavy rain, my pup remained dry and cozy!

    I did have to make a pleat on the chest piece to adjust the fit. My pup is at the small end of her size range.

    Thanks to Ruffwear for another great product!

    Great coat

    I have a lab mix who needs the extra warmth of the Vert Winter Coat on cold and rainy days. He is 75 lbs but long barrel chest so I went with the large size. It fits great and is easy to get on and off.
