Sizing Chart

Ruffwear's apparel features an active, tailored fit that hugs close to your dog's body, designed to move with their natural range of motion. Measurement is determined by your dog’s chest girth, measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Coverage may fit slightly shorter or longer depending on your dog’s proportions. If between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a more snug fit.

Reviews Summary
Customers say this winter coat keeps their dogs warm and dry while allowing full mobility. Many reviews mention the secure fit with adjustable straps and leg loops that keep the coat in place during active play. The lightweight design works well over harnesses, with an easy-to-use leash portal. While some note the leg straps can be tight or wear out over time, most praise the coat's durability and coverage. Users appreciate the simple on-off process and how it stays in position during runs and outdoor adventures. Several mention it performs well in snow, rain, and cold temperatures.

Haven't been able to fully test yet

Looks comfortable , good fit , Not sure how warm or waterproof no snow yet.

But my past purchase of overcoat fused vest , Frontline harness and Flagline harnesses were very impressive, secure, so far holding up . I refer to Ruffwear as the Patagonia of dog wear when Patagonia was the best. thank you

    Fits great!

Bought the Vert in a Large for my pup — he's still a growing boy so I sized up, and the fit is spot on. Good quality, easy to get on and off, and he seems totally comfortable wearing it. Very happy with this purchase.

great vest either for a cold climate or a cold natured dog

I like this style because it is easy to get on my dog and adjust to fit her well. I looked at these previously but they didn't have the Canyonlands Orange. I prefer the bright colors, especially orange or red because I live on a ranch and I can spot her quickly if she goes "hunting" on her own. She is a pit/boxer/malinois mix and weighs approximately 60 pounds and is stocky. I really hope they get this color back in stock so I can order one for my half-grown dog before winter.

Finally less reasons to avoid PNW moisture

We haven't had a chance to try it out yet (its May) but I'm excited for the opportunity.
