The snug-fitting vest with our Swamp Cooler™ Tech in the chest and belly panel uses moisture to help pull body surface heat away through evaporative cooling. The stretch fabric ensures a close fit for effective cooling and provides UPF 50+ sun protection. Just soak the vest in water, zip on your dog, and go.

    Swamp cooler cooling vest

    I love our new swamp cooler zip cooling vests. I purchased one for each of my dogs and it is not only cooling but is lightweight. That allows my dogs to still run free without the extra weight.

    Great for cooling and anxiety support

    Bought this for my older dog to use during our hot Kootenay summers. She has a lot of fur, so to improve performance, I shaved her belly for good contact between the cooling pad and her belly. The "vest" concept also helps to provide pressure on her body, which asks a bit like a thunder fest. Shes reactive to people out of anxiety so this seems to help with that!

    Her thick coat does make her look a bit like a bulky sausage but I wouldn't suggest going a size bigger since I think you want decent contact to ensure water top ups properly soak into the undercoat.

    Helps keep our pup cool

    Our dog is a 60lb golden/black lab/aussie mix. His coat is long and black and he overheats quickly in the sun, even when the temp is not crazy hot. The vest has helped keep him cooler on walks- his fur is dry and cool when we take it off after a 30min outing, and he recovers faster than he used to.
