The Swamp Cooler Core™ is an add-on that provides cooling, extra lift-and-assist support, and additional stability for the Palisades™ Pack and Approach™ Pack.

This three-layer chest panel features Ruffwear's Swamp Cooler™ Tech that uses evaporative cooling to efficiently disperse heat from the dog’s core when exploring in warm temperatures. To activate, wet the Swamp Cooler Core with water, use the hook-and-loop sleeves to attach it to the chest and belly straps of the pack or harness, then hit the trail!

EASY ON/OFF

Easily add as cooling belly panel to a compatible pack or harness with hook-and-loop sleeves.

    Works well, but only for certain harnesses

    This add-on was great! It really helped keep my dog cool on hot sunny days, either for hiking or just walks in the city. You could really tell the difference. Stays wet for a long time, and works well even when it's humid out.

    Nice cooler for harnesses

    This is exactly what was needed for the harness. The original swamp cooler was nice but wasn't effective with the harness. I look forward to using it next summer.
