Ali lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia with her better half, Colten and their dogs, Kona, Cali, and Loot. In 2016, Ali left her municipal job to pursue a career working with dogs. She started hiking dogs, and that evolved into training and boarding dogs. While she continues to spend as much time as she can hiking and enjoying the outdoors with her dogs, she has put a heavy focus on competing in agility at an international level. It is important to her that when she asks a lot of her dogs for training, she must provide an equal amount of time decompressing on the trails.
