The Front Range Day Pack incorporates Ruffwear's signature radial cut saddlebags with the customer-favorite Front Range® Harness platform, making it an everyday pack staple in any dog's gear closet. Dogs can help shoulder the load thanks to the integrated padded harness and belly strap that adjust for exceptional fit and pack stability.

The saddlebag geometry creates a passive compression system that is formfitting and supports efficient load carrying. There are three leash attachment options: a V-ring and a tow loop on the back, and a reinforced webbing loop on the chest – great for redirecting dogs that pull when on leash.

With plenty of internal organization and trail-minded details, this comfortable day pack equips dogs to carry the day's provisions on hikes and frontcountry pursuits.

Fantastic Dog Day Pack
My pup wears the Front Range Dog Harness in size small and the size small day pack fits him perfectly. It easily holds two of the 1L collapsable water bottles, packable dog bowl, and more. He doesn't seem to mind the extra weight on his back and looks forward to exploring the mountains with his new pack!

Perfect Fit
Perfect size for 3 yr old Cavapoo. Great for a short walk or a long hike. The color came out exactly as expected, the pockets are nice and spacious and even with water and treats they don't seem to sag. The handles make it easy to help my pup in and out of the car. The material feels really durable too - overall, very happy with this purchase!

Great Dog Backpack for Short or Long Hikes
This dog backpack has been a game-changer for our hikes—whether short trails or full-day adventures. I love that it can comfortably hold two water packs and a treat bag without weighing my dog down. Perfect !
Very easy to install and adjust thanks to the quick clips and well-placed adjustment buckles. The materials are both lightweight and durable. Our 10-month-old dog, Jessie, is a medium-sized dog (female German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, about 40 pounds), and the backpack doesn't take up much space. The number of compartments is sufficient. We live on farmland and use the Front Range™ Day Pack almost every day. It's truly a well-designed product.
