The Hi & Light Harness is a lightweight, low-profile dog harness that thrives both on fast-paced pursuits and in the paws of those who appreciate the freedom of a minimalist design. A great harness for small dogs with It's available range of sizes down to XXXS, and you can dial in a sleek, comfortable fit with four points of adjustment. Stay connected with two leash attachment points: an aluminum V-ring on the back and an ultralight, ultrastrong webbing loop on the chest.

The little details pack big functionality without adding weight: a debris-resistant liner to shed dirt and fur, a small pocket for ID tags, and reflective trim to boost visibility in low-light conditions. Whether running, biking, or simply preferring to keep things cool and lighten the load, dogs can keep their momentum with the Hi & Light Harness.

    Absolutely LOVE this harness but…

    We absolutely LOVE this harness for mountain hiking with our Staffordshire terrier mix, but wish for more colour options - like a solid blue or solid black / charcoal. We particularly love the minimalist yet durable design - perfect for long range hikes.

    Great harness

    Bought this for our 65lb senior weim we adopted last month. She is tough to fit in Ruffwear harnesses b/c she is very petite, but deep chest at 31”. I bought the padded version of this harness in a medium & after a month of wearing it, she rubbed off a bunch of the hair on her chest (she has thin coat, sensitive skin, 8 years of poor nutrition, and is learning not to pull). I bought this non-padded version in large. It seems to fit well, excited to take her for a walk in it tomorrow. I will say, we have an old flag line harness & it’s lasted thru 4 senior dogs, the quality of Ruffwear products is exceptional - from collars to leashes, to coats, to bowls, to harnesses. Once you get the fit correct, you will get more than your money’s worth!

    Great harness!

    Really love this harness. We had the thicker one and wanted to go for a light weight version. I was a little nervous because the buckles were smaller and my dog likes to pull. We’ve had a few tests around cats and the harness has stood the extreme pulling. Highly recommend.

    The closest to perfect I've found.

    Meadow is a very small miniature Schnauzer - 10#. She has a difficult to fit body. Very small neck and slim shoulders but a deep chest. Most harnesses that fit her neck and shoulders are so short they cut under her armpits.

    This harness is long enough and adjustable enough to accommodate her chest and have the leash attachment far enough down her back that she is comfortable. The neck is 1 inch too large on the smallest setting (she's got a 9" neck and this is 10"), so I had to sew it but I knew that when I bought it.

    What would be IDEAL, would be this exact harness with loops at the neck that you could just run your Ruffwear collar through at the perfect circumference. It would solve every adjustment issue for every dog's neck. And it would eliminate the extra straps, buckles and weight.
