    I tried them all and this was finally the winner!

    I wanted my fur baby to be safe riding with me but did not want to spend $600+ for a kennel that she likely would not like! I tried two different versions of the harnesses that go over the headrest. They both allowed too much freedom and she got caught and tangled up in them and practically choked herself! The better one attached to the headrest and onto the car baby car seat anchors. There was no way to anchor it into the front car seat as my car lacked these anchors in the front passenger seat. I tried several car harnesses; some were advertised as “tested” and even some that were not. My pup has a narrow chest and the better ones were all too wide on her chest and rubbed. FINALLY, I tried this Ruffwear harness! It was the perfect match! It has been tested, it was easy to attach/ remove both on her and into my car, it allowed for her narrow chest and the harness attachment was low enough that it made her stay in the seat and not allow her body to be “free floating” in case I had to stop suddenly! I couldn’t be happier as it checked all the boxes! This review was part of a promotion but I would highly recommend it without ANY compensation! She can use it in both the front and rear seats and either sleeping on her bed, or without.

    Very pleased

    The harness is easy to get off and on, even with a dog with very long fur. Buckling the seat belt through the loop is simple enough. We all enjoy the peace of mind.

    Great Car Harness

    My dog doesn’t love wearing it, but I’ve had 3 (one for each dog) and they’ve all held up extremely well and keep my dogs safe.

    Balances safety and comfort

    The Load Up harness does a nice job balancing safety and comfort. It’s much easier to use than the certified safety harness, and gives our golden retriever greater freedom of movement. The design distributes force on the chest area in the event of an accident while integrating with the car’s seatbelt. We like the metal buckles, as well, having experienced failure of plastic ones. We have a few harnesses, and this is our go-to.

    Easier Clip-In and More Comfortable Wear than Alternatives

    The attachment loop is way easier to clip in and out of than the normal harness D-ring. The location at the bottom of the harness is great too - it doesn't get tangled around legs or restrict my dog's ability to sit up easily.
